The St. Sebastiaan Grand Cru is a golden, heavy abbey beer of high fermentation with a striking fruity aroma and subtle hints of elaborately chosen herbs. This St. Sebastiaan is a nice balance between sweet, bitter and full-bodied and has a soft, malty aftertaste. The Grand Cru is refermented in the bottle by Brouwerij Sterkens. The result is a nice clear beer with a delicious aroma and at the bottom of the bottle, for those who like it, a hint of yeast.
